KRANKk announces debut album 'Dark' and shares new live session

KRANKk is a trio of classically schooled musicians have made it their mission to bring British underground music back to the spotlights. Aram Abgaryan, Thomas Geysen and Willem Heylen already proved their worth at the 2019 Red Bull Elektropedia Awards ceremony, where they were given the Most Promising Artists title (and where they played Aberrant live for the first time). Now, the Antwerp-based group has announced they will soon release their debut album, Dark. The first single, Aberrant, is exclusively available here in an incredible live session.

“Dark is an ode to the music we grew up with during our time at the Royal Conservatory together, like grime, UK garage and footwork”, says Abgaryan. “Aberrant slowly builds its pace, leading to a burst of live breakbeat energy”. Other than this single, the album will feature collaborations with David Ngyah, Manga Saint Hilaire, Coco and Tsar B.
