After more than a year of radio silence, Rave Rebels launches a massive 12-hour-long event on Saturday October 9.
It’s almost one full year since the wheels of the Belgian nightlife scene stopped turning. Techno and rave fans have been waiting eagerly on the sidelines, but now they finally have something to get excited about. The Kompass-backed Rave Rebels is confident about the future and announces another 12-hour-long rave at Brussels’ Palais 12 on Saturday October 9, 2021.
The promoters are confident to pin a date and go forward with a new edition. “It’s still more than nine months away from now”, says the organization. “A lot can happen in that time. We will adapt our formula if that’s necessary, but at least we have a goal to work towards". Those who have been lucky enough to attend the first Rave Rebels event already know the scope of the event production. With a massive visual installation and an even bigger sound system, the organization wants to give the word ‘rave’ a new meaning.
For its second gathering, the organization returns to Palais 12 in the capital. “We chose Brussels because it is a very rewarding environment for new events and concepts of all kinds”, explains promoter Olivier Ramoudt. “The ravers in and around Brussels are very familiar with electronic music and simply love nightlife. Additionally, the favorable location enables us to attract a wider audience too”.
Previous Rave Rebels parties hosted Solomun, Adana Twins, Joris Voorn, Maceo Plex and Pan-Pot. The definitive lineup of the upcoming event will be announced on February 2. It has been a tough year for all of us, but now we have something to look forward to.
