Starting this week, Brussels will have a brand new temporary rooftop bar - right in the centre of town.
Located right on top of the Royal Library at the Mont Des Arts, Albert Summer Rooftop is a preview of the permanent rooftop restaurant and bar ('Albert'), which will open its doors on September 18. During the summer, two of the city's established event concepts, Play Label Records (which also manages the La Cabane nightclub) and Catclub will host a variety of different activities. Think DJ-sets, live performances, screenings and collaborations with local players in the music scene, like Under My Garage, C12, Crevette Records, Kiosk Radio, Fancy Footwork, and more.
Depending on the weather, the Albert Summer Rooftop will be opened 3 to 4 days a week. Guests will be able to enter through the Palais de Lorraine, approaching from the Northside of the Mont des Arts. With an available outdoor surface of more than 1000 m², this modernist terrace can easily hold up to 250 people without overstepping the governmental guidelines.
