Full Circle 2020 will take place (in a different form)

Lefto B2B Zwangere Guy, Lola Haro and Stavroz have been confirmed to play an adapted Full Circle edition next month.

For the fourth year in a row, Full Circle aims to unite Antwerp’s colourful nightlife scene. Usually, over a dozen of the city’s nightlife venues would be accessible during one night with just one ticket. However, given the current circumstances, the upcoming edition that will take place on November 10, 11, 13 and 14 will be different this year.

“As the safety of our guests is our number one priority, we revert to the classic model of one event, one ticket”, explains co-promoter Antoine De Brabandere. “In this way, we’re able to host over 20 different events in total, spread across ten different venues, over four days”.

This year, Full Circle will host events at both small (Club Vaag, Café Capital, Bar Rodin, Felix Pakhuis) and big venues (Ampere, Arenberg, TRIX, Strantwerpen), as well a restaurant (The Jane) and a museum (MAS). Each event will comply with the safety measures imposed by the National Security Council and the City of Antwerp.

What hasn’t changed this year is the conscious choice to go all out for local talent. The lineup consists exclusively of Belgian artists. Amongst this year’s first announced names: Lefto B2B Zwangere Guy, Lola Haro, Nico Morano, Stavroz live and Klaps. Other than music, Full Circle will host several talks and discussions about nightlife-related topics. So far, Amelie Lens, Gilles De Decker (Paradise City Festival), Nick Bril (The Jane), Matthias De Caluwe (Horeca Vlaanderen) and Hakim Chatar have been confirmed as participating speakers.

“As a result of the current crisis, a large part of the event industry is in a survival mode with hardly any available work, and with a huge loss of turnover”, says co-promoter Jochem Peeters. By organising Full Circle, we want to give the various locations a much-needed boost to make Antwerp vibrant once again”.
