These two Brussels nightlife institutes will make your Saturday nights feel a little more familiar.

On March 14, it will have been one year since we last danced to pounding techno music in a dark club filled with smoke and sweat. With no end in sight, the Brussels-based internet radio Kiosk and techno temple C12 are joining forces to create an experience that may very well be the closest thing to a real club experience we’ve seen so far.

Every Saturday night between midnight and 4 AM, both C12 and Kiosk Radio will open the doors to their virtual nightclub, accessible to everyone with an internet connection. Expect dedicated livestreams from their social pages, with real deal DJs, like Answer Code Request, A.Brehme, Lola Haro and Lawrence Le Doux. “We will stream pre-recorded sets, but we asked the artists to play as if it was peaktime”, says C12 promoter Tom Brus. “We will also work with both professional and amateur video footage from our club – arranged and edited by the talented Daya Halle from the duo 2F4F – to give people the closest thing to a real club experience they can get”.

The first broadcast will air this Saturday, with DJs Mandana, Issa Maiga, Karla Bohm and Kappen. You might wanna warn your neighbours beforehand.
