Belgium - The Vinyl Frontier

Red Bull Elektropedia and Red Bull Music are teaming up with Democrazy for this year’s Record Store Day. On April 19, we’ll put the limited edition book Belgium – The Vinyl Frontier in eighteen record stores across the country – free to pick up for music lovers who buy €70-100 worth of black gold, while supplies last!

The 132-page hard cover book features a look inside the homes of some of Belgium’s most insufferable vinyl diggers: Lefto, Lorin Deforce (Music Mania), Raphael Christophe (Raphael Top-Secret), Stefaan Vandenberghe (Dr. Lektroluv, T-Quest), Lars Cosemans (Coffee & Vinyl), Bart Van Neste (Red D, FCL) & Thierry Steuve (Thierry SteadyGo).

Pictures were taken by the renowned Belgian photographer Thomas Sweertvaegher (aka Switn), with interviews conducted by vinyl lover Koen Galle (aka Kong), art direction by Pieter De Kegel (aka Not Another Graphic Designer) and foreword by Ben Van Alboom (aka Ben Van Alboom).

Belgium – The Vinyl Frontier is limited to 1,000 numbered copies, and it is only available on April 19 with purchase of €70-100 worth of vinyl.
